I study the implementation and repeal of Peru’s Agrarian Promotion Law to quantify how policy wedges reshape worker sorting, wages, and employment. This reform modified profit taxes for eligible agro-industrial firms and introduced a flexible agrarian labor regime within the span of 2001-2025.

The working paper presented was “Do informal workers of small firms self-insurance forretirement?”. There, we explore how individuals working in small firms in Peru decide to plan and save for retirement in different options. We collected surveys about expectations, planning and saving actions the individuals have taken for retirement. We found that individuals do have a retirement options portafolio where having an own business is the preferred option.

The working paper presented was “Voice Messages and Early Immunization:A Field Experiment?”. We conduct a field experiment in the metropolitan area of the Dominican Republic to study the impact of sending voice messages on early immunization behavior. We found significant spillover effects by the Vice-President voice messages.
